Amending, withdrawing or discarding an application

What to do if you need to change or stop your application

You can amend or discard your application before you submit it for registration.

Amending an application

Before you submit your application, you can make changes to it.

If you're logged in to your account, you'll find your draft application in the ‘Applications saved or under review’ tab on your dashboard. From here, you can select the application and make the necessary changes.

If your entity is registered on another Companies Office register

If you need to amend details in your application that are sourced from another Companies Office register (this information will be non-editable in the FSPR) you must update the home register first. Once that’s done, select 'Change Entity Details' on the 'General Details' tab, search for your entity, and refresh the information in your application.

For example, if the entity is a company and a director's address has changed, you’ll need to update the director's details on the Companies Register first.

How to discard or withdraw your application

If you’ve not yet submitted your application, go to the ’Applications saved or under review’ tab on your dashboard and click ‘Discard’.

If you are an entity whose submitted application is under review, and you wish to withdraw it, please contact us.
